Fast Fashion Awareness Campaign
This is a campaign in which raises awarness about the fast fashion industry. It questions consumer behavior spread designed across social media and billboards utilizing #WHOMADETHIS. Through antidesign ideologies, my intervention attaches "truth tags" to existing clothing items that expose information that is usually missing from the labels. Instead of just telling consumers what to buy, the tags would ask questions like "Who made this?" "Were workers paid fairly?, and "Were unsafe conditions involved?" being sure to emphasize even more so when the information is not provided.

POST 02 THE INTERRUPTION: “YOU KNOW THE PRICE. YOU DON'T KNOW THE COST.”
In this second instagram post, the original and familiar clothing tag is introduced which, again, gives the viewers that familiarity to make them a bit more interested in what the post may be trying to convey. That being said, they still are a bit left in the intentionally to make their curiosity piqued. At this point the viewers may be wondering “what is the difference between cost and price?”
POST 01 THE HOOK: “NEW ARRIVAL. SAME QUESTION.”
With this first instagram post, we are hooking the audience to wonder and take their guesses or even research the topic “#whomadethis” to learn more. The familiar “vogue” fashion theme makes it seem like a social media post that a fashion magazine might post.
POST 04 THE ABSENCE: “LABOR INFORMATION: NOT PROVIDED.”
With this fourth instagram post, the audience is now aware of the fact that we are specifically trying to highlight the labor information and how it is not present on these fastly made garments for a reason. They don’t want the average consumer to be aware because most people's morals won’t align, which means less sales.
POST 03 THE HIDDEN COST: “DO YOU KNOW WHO MADE YOUR CLOTHES?”
Now the third instagram post, we are directly questioning the audience, confronting them with question they should know the answer to. This question can make them question what they know about the clothing industry if anything and why they don’t know these answers.
POST 05 THE REFUSAL: “YOU STILL HAVE THE OPTION TO BUY IT.”
With this last instagram post, the audience is now confronted with the reality of the fashion industry directly. Through these “truth tags” the consumers now have the option to buy it or not depending on the information they are confronted with regarding that specific garment.. Whether it's made fastly in a foreign country or ethically locally, they have the option. The idea of “more information not being a luxury”
