Circle Care is a family-focused caregiving app, to simplify the management of tasks, events, documents, and appointments. The app empowers families to stay organized and connected through clear role assignments and collaborative tools. Using Figma for wireframing and prototyping, I carefully mapped out an intuitive user interface that minimizes stress for busy caregivers. I then used Adobe Illustrator to create the visual identity, developing a calming color palette and clean iconography that reinforces the app’s supportive mission. Each feature, from the document storage system to the collaborative calendar, was crafted with empathy and functionality in mind. This project was a hands-on exploration of user-centered design, balancing aesthetics and usability to create a meaningful solution for caregiving families.

DESIGN BREIF

OVERVIEW: The goal of this project is to design Circle Care, a caregiving coordination app that helps families organize tasks, appointments, and important documents in one shared space. The app focuses on reducing stress for caregivers by providing a clear, collaborative system where family members can stay informed and involved.

OBJECTIVE: The objective is to create a clean, intuitive, and supportive user experience that makes managing caregiving responsibilities easier. The design prioritizes accessibility, role-based collaboration, and organized information, ensuring users can quickly navigate tasks, schedules, and shared documents within the app.

TARGET MARKET: The target audience includes adults who are caring for a parent, relative, or loved one and need a way to coordinate responsibilities with other family members. This audience values simplicity, reliability, and tools that help reduce overwhelm while keeping everyone connected.

PRIMARY MESSAGE: The primary message of Circle Care is that caregiving does not have to be managed alone. The app promotes organization, communication, and shared responsibility, helping families work together more smoothly while supporting the well-being of both caregivers and those receiving care.

COMPONENTS

I have both the mid-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes of Circle Care, along with a functional demo of the app prototype. The mid-fidelity wireframes focus on layout, navigation flow, and the core structure of the user experience, helping define how users move through tasks, appointments, and document storage. The high-fidelity designs build on this by introducing the final visual style, including color, typography, and interface details created in Figma and Adobe Illustrator. The demo video highlights how these elements come together to simulate how the app would function in a real user environment.
